Three bills
| Topic | What to confirm | Who owns it |
|---|---|---|
| Facility | Cashier method and receipt name | The hospital |
| Travel suppliers | Hotel, flights, local cars | Those suppliers |
| DragonTrail | Tasks on the accepted quote | Fees page and the quote |
| Your worksheet | Figures you typed | Cost planner |
Expect separate bills from the facility, from hotels and airlines, and from DragonTrail if you hire us. This page is not our fee card.
Who do we pay, and which bill is not DragonTrail’s?
The hospital cashier collects the facility’s charges. The hotel collects the room. An airline collects the ticket. DragonTrail, if you accept a quote, invoices the coordination tasks on that quote. Fees explains that split and does not list treatment prices. Do not add those bills into one number and call it our price.
Card acceptance is a cashier fact. Some campuses take international cards, some want UnionPay, and some want a local payment app or a transfer. Ask the international office what the desk accepted last month, and carry a second method. Tourist versions of common payment apps exist and still fail for some passports. A hotel that can charge a card is a useful backup for meals and taxis, not a promise about the hospital.
Deposits and final bills are different. Ask which one is refundable if the department cancels, and in whose name the receipt is printed. Your insurer may reject a receipt in the companion’s name. The trip budget page is where you list the categories. The cost planner is where you type figures. Neither one is this payments page.
Keep every slip. Photograph them before you leave the campus, because a thermal receipt fades. DragonTrail does not collect the hospital’s money and does not hold a deposit for a clinician.
What to write down
- Which desk takes the hospital payment
- Card types they named, plus a backup
- Whose name must be on the receipt
- Deposit versus final bill
- DragonTrail’s invoice kept in a separate envelope

Separate the envelopes

Questions people ask
- No. Clinical charges belong to the facility. Our invoice covers coordination tasks we confirm in writing.
- Ask that cashier. We do not publish a card list for a campus we have not been told to quote.
- No. It calculates from numbers you type. It does not charge a card.
- Ask the cashier whether they can add the passport name in Latin letters. Your insurer sets the claim rule.
Talk to the medical desk
The medical desk coordinates logistics after a facility has its own plan. It does not diagnose, quote a treatment, or decide entry.
