This page is a budget checklist. It is not DragonTrail’s fee card and it is not the calculator.
What belongs in the trip budget, aside from DragonTrail’s fee?
Keep three jobs apart. Fees describes DragonTrail’s coordination fee and what that fee does not buy. The cost planner is a calculator: you type a provider figure and your travel figures, and it shows the assumptions. This guide lists the lines people forget. It does not publish a treatment price, a hospital package, or our fee amount.
Build the trip from categories you can price with a supplier. International flights and any domestic connection. A hotel before the appointment, nights near the campus, and a night after discharge if you are not flying the same day. Meals, including a companion. Local transport from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the campus. A phone or eSIM. Tips are not a usual hospital line in China; do not add a made-up gratuity as if it were required.
Add coordination tasks only if you intend to ask for them: interpretation, record translation, an extra accessible vehicle, a companion room. Each of those is quoted on its own service page when a supplier exists. Until a quote names the supplier, treat the line as unknown, not as zero and not as a number you saw elsewhere.
The facility’s invoice is theirs. Ask them for a written estimate if you need one for an insurer, and type that figure into the cost planner yourself. DragonTrail does not invent a surgery, scan, or drug price to fill the gap. A travel itinerary quote prices the ground plan we agree, not the clinical bill.
What to write down
- Flights you can change if the facility moves the day
- Hotel nights that include a buffer, not only the appointment date
- Companion food, room, and local transport
- Interpretation and translation only if you will request them
- The facility estimate, labeled as theirs
- DragonTrail’s fee, taken from the fee page or a written quote, not from this guide

Questions people ask
- Hospital charges and DragonTrail’s fee are different bills. Publishing a treatment price here would invent a number the facility has not given you.
- On the fees page, and then on the itemized quote for your dates. The cost planner does not look up a hidden rate card.
- No. The planner adds numbers you type. This page is the list of lines to go and price.
- You may add them for your own view. Label the hospital line as the provider’s figure so it is not mistaken for our fee.
Talk to the medical desk
The medical desk coordinates logistics after a facility has its own plan. It does not diagnose, quote a treatment, or decide entry.
