Guilin hotel → one of Guilin's railway stations → train → Yangshuo Railway Station → shuttle / taxi / car → Yangshuo hotel.
Yangshuo Railway Station is not in Yangshuo town.
阳朔站 is in Xingping Town on the northeastern side of Yangshuo County. Travelers staying around West Street or the Yulong River still need a separate road transfer after leaving the train. Current transport references place Yangshuo Station roughly 22 km from Yangshuo's main town area. Do not claim a fixed door-to-door transfer time.
Which Guilin station?
Guilin has several railway stations:

Why Yangshuo Railway Station changes the calculation
Simple geographic model:
Guilin → Xingping / Yangshuo Railway Station → Yangshuo town → Yulong River countryside
- Yangshuo County is geographically much larger than Yangshuo town
- station naming can mislead first-time visitors
- station is useful for Xingping
- station is less directly useful for West Street/Yulong stays
