Who Needs Tickets and Reservations

Paying visitors must complete online real-name reservation and present the original valid ID used for that reservation. Seniors 60+ and qualifying young children are currently exempt from reservation but must show valid ID on entry. Daily capacity is limited.

Booking Window

Tickets may be reserved online up to 14 days in advance. Sales stop when the daily quota sells out. Afternoon ticket holders should not arrive early for morning entry.

Real-Name Requirement

Each ticket is for one person and must match one valid ID. Mismatched ID and ticket details can block entry. Avoid unofficial resale channels.

Passport Procedure for Foreign Visitors

After booking, mainland ID-card-style documents use the original ID verification lane. Visitors holding a passport (or certain other non-mainland documents listed on the official page) should proceed to the Lane for Passport & Other Documents and follow the posted verification steps, including presenting a photo of the relevant valid document when instructed. Bring the passport used for the booking.

Trip.com listing is referenced on the official English tickets page for international convenience — still treat the Base’s own rules as authoritative.

Sightseeing Bus (Separate)

Internal sightseeing bus tickets are separate: CNY 30 full price for visitors over 1.3 m (official Tour Bus Service page). Not included in Base admission.

Refund Basics

Tickets are valid only on the reserved visit date. No refunds once used. For unused tickets: no service fee for refunds requested before 17:00 on the visit day; 20% fee for refunds within 7 days starting from 17:00 on the visit day; no refunds after that window. Refunds must go through the original booking platform.

  2. Save confirmation / QR as required by the channel.
  3. Bring the exact document used for the reservation.
  4. Do not buy “fast track” from unofficial sellers.
  5. Remember Valley is a separate ticket if you plan both sites.
