Institutional affiliation does not mean shared tickets. Base admission is valid exclusively for the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and does not grant access to Dujiangyan Panda Valley (stated on the Base tickets page).

Majiagou, Yutang Town, Dujiangyan City area — adjacent in regional terms to the Dujiangyan irrigation works and Mount Qingcheng corridor. Official text cites about 50 km from Chengdu and about 3 km from downtown Dujiangyan, with expressway / light-rail / ring-road access options.

Private vehicle is the most controllable for fixed entry slots. Public options via Chengdu–Dujiangyan transport exist but add transfer risk. Build buffer for ticket check. How Much Time to Allow
Most travelers should budget half day to full day including Chengdu transit. Do not copy Chengdu Base’s 2–3 hour city model blindly.
