North is up. Three separate ski areas lie north of Beijing city: 01 Nanshan in Miyun, 02 Yanqing National Alpine Centre in the Olympic mountain area to the northwest, and 03 Huaibei in Huairou.

PEK Capital Airport is northeast of central Beijing. PKX Daxing Airport is a separate airport south of the city. Choose the ski area first, then specify the exact airport, terminal, station, hotel and ski entrance in the transfer quote.

Approximate feature-area locations are not precise ski entrances or terminal pickup points. No road routes, driving times, current openings or guaranteed connections are encoded. Not for navigation.

Beijing

One ski day or a short overnight. Keep your city base for Nanshan or Huaibei; allow more travel and terrain checks for Yanqing.

Starting point: Beijing hotel, PEK or PKX.

A local ski day or an Olympic mountain stay?

Nanshan in Miyun suits a focused day with learning and technique practice. Huaibei offers Huairou's mountain and Great Wall landscape. Yanqing's alpine venue needs specific public terrain and ticket checks; an overnight can make the mountain journey more worthwhile.

Protect actual time on snow

A vehicle day includes driving, rental fitting, lessons, breaks and returns. It is not the same number of hours skiing. Ask whether the driver waits or returns later, and have pickup coverage, extra stops, waiting and overtime terms written into the quote.

Sightseeing belongs on its own clock

For a Great Wall combination, a Huairou overnight with a separate Mutianyu day is more practical than squeezing a first lesson and Wall visit into one short day. Airport arrival formalities need their own margin.

Nanshan Ski Resort

南山滑雪场

Nanshan in Miyun suits skiing as one day within a Beijing holiday. Dedicated learning areas sit alongside more demanding pistes and freestyle facilities; the short commitment is its advantage over moving to a mountain resort.

National Alpine Skiing Centre, Yanqing

国家高山滑雪中心

The National Alpine Skiing Centre, or Snow Flying Swallow, offers a mountain setting and Beijing 2022 alpine heritage. Recreational skiing is documented, but venue access never means every Olympic course is open to every visitor.

Huaibei International Ski Resort

怀北国际滑雪场

Huaibei lies in Huairou's Jiugukou landscape, with Great Wall sections framing the hills. It is a focused Beijing ski-day option; surrounding Wall scenery is not permission to walk unrestored sections.

For Chongli, compare the wider Zhangjiakou destination, Beijing–Chongli transport and Olympic-area resorts. Exact stations and hotel locations matter more than a regional label.

Once you have a shortlist, use the ski holidays and private-transfer chooser to request transport or a tailored stay. Resort guides explain the destination; your written quote confirms the actual services and dates.
