- Two or three days works well for many first-time visitors. One day can cover a compact urban-and-night route. With two days, either add Wulong or Dazu or keep a second city-focused day. With three days, combine one regional excursion with deeper city time, or use both Wulong and Dazu if regional heritage and landscapes are the priority.
- No. They offer very different experiences. Wulong is primarily a karst-landscape excursion; Dazu is a rock-carving and cultural-heritage excursion. A first-time Chongqing trip can be complete with one, both or neither depending on your interests and available days.
- Enough for a strong urban + night sample — not enough for Wulong or Dazu as well.
