Metro / monorail vs taxi / DiDi
Rail transit is efficient for many corridors, but luggage, late hours and multi-level exits often make taxis or DiDi simpler — especially with family groups. In Chongqing, choose exits by the street or building level you need, not simply by whichever exit appears geographically closest on a flat map. Monorail segments include iconic elevated views; they are still transit, not a substitute for a planned sightseeing stop at Liziba unless you intentionally go there.
