A private Jinshanling day with restored and rougher wall, flexible hiking length, and honest pacing for guests who want a real hike—not a cable-car comfort visit.
Jinshanling is the default second Wall after Mutianyu for visitors who want more hiking and fewer crowds than Badaling—without going fully wild like Gubeikou.
You get restored watchtowers plus rougher, photogenic stretches in one full day from Beijing (~2–2.5 hours each way).
Route and experience
We pick you up in Beijing and drive to Jinshanling. You walk up to the wall and hike along it with your guide—restored sections and wilder ridges depending on your fitness and time.
Hike length is flexible (roughly 2–4+ hours on the wall). Jinshanling does not fit a short 8–10 hour layover; for layovers we use Mutianyu on our 8–10 hour layover tour.
