Which Great Wall section do you recommend?

For most first-time visitors, we recommend Mutianyu because it is scenic, restored, easier to manage, and has cable car, chairlift, and toboggan options.

Are Mutianyu tickets included?

Tickets are separate unless pre-arranged. A typical adult package is around 200 RMB depending on the route and cable car or toboggan option.

Can you pick us up from our Beijing hotel?

Yes. Standard pickup is from central Beijing hotels, apartments, or agreed meeting points.

Can you pick us up from PEK or PKX airport?

Yes, but airport routes depend on flight time, immigration, luggage, and return buffer. For complex layovers, use the Beijing layover quote page.

Can we add Summer Palace or Forbidden City?

Yes, if timing allows. Summer Palace is usually easier to combine with Mutianyu. Forbidden City requires ticket planning and has stricter timing.

Can we use the toboggan?

Usually yes if the weather and operations allow. It may close in rain, snow, strong wind, or unsafe conditions.

Do we need to pay now?
