Route and experience
We pick you up in Beijing and drive to Gubeikou (about 2–2.5 hours). You’ll hike on the original, unreconstructed wall: uneven footing, no cable car, no restored path. Your guide keeps the route safe and manageable. Hike length is flexible; we return you to Beijing after the visit. How fit do I need to be? Good fitness and experience with uneven, sometimes steep terrain. The wall is unreconstructed; there are no guardrails in many places.
