Route and experience
We pick you up in Beijing and drive to Huanghuacheng (about 1.5–2 hours). You’ll walk along the wall and by the water: the “water Great Wall” stretch: with your guide. The visit is a mix of wall and scenery; we return you to Beijing after. Huanghuacheng does not fit a short 8–10 hour layover; for a layover we use Mutianyu on our 8–10 hour layover tour. Is the wall actually in the water? The wall runs along or near the reservoir at Huanghuacheng; in places it meets the water. You get wall, lake and mountain views together.
