Multi-City Medical Trip

Two cities in this sketch means two provider windows and one travel day between them. It does not continue a treatment from one hospital to another.

DragonTrail coordinates travel and logistics. We do not provide medical care.

This is an example travel schedule. It is not a clinical protocol, a recovery plan, or a package of care.

Assumptions

  • Each city has its own provider window, already confirmed by that provider. One confirmation does not cover the other city.
  • The example pair is Beijing then Shanghai because those airports are not interchangeable. Another pair uses those cities’ own destination pages.
  • The day you change cities is a travel day. It is not an appointment.
  • You do not need both windows. A single-city sketch is the other pages.

Provider-dependent timing

Each window moves on its own provider’s clock. The rail or flight between them is booked around those clocks. This page does not say the first city finished the care.

Example timetable

  1. Arrival. Arrive in the first city on that city’s page: Capital or Daxing for Beijing in this example. The second city, Shanghai, is a new arrival at Pudong or Hongqiao later, not a terminal change.
  2. Appointment. One window in the first city and a later window in the second, each confirmed by its own provider. Hospital profiles along the way are listings. They are not steps in a protocol.
  3. Accommodation. A night in each city, each tied to that city’s campus after the address is known. You do not keep a Beijing hotel for a Shanghai morning. Neither stay is bookable yet, and neither has a rate here.
  4. Transfer. Local rides inside each city, plus a separate rail or flight between Beijing and Shanghai on a day with no appointment. That intercity seat is ordinary transport. Local transfers are not yet bookable.
  5. Companion. A companion can make both cities or only one. Their seats and beds follow the dates they actually travel. Companion support is not yet bookable, and it is not clinical help on the travel day.

Exclusions

  • A clinical pathway that starts in one hospital and continues in the next
  • Doing both windows on the same day
  • A countdown that ends when you leave the second city
  • One price that covers both providers
