Hainan Extended Medical Stay
Hainan in this sketch is an open ground stay around provider windows. It does not say when care is finished or when you should fly.

This is an example travel schedule. It is not a clinical protocol, a recovery plan, or a package of care.
Assumptions
- You pick one base first: Boao Lecheng, Haikou, or Sanya. This sketch does not tour all three.
- A second base appears only if the provider’s later window is actually there.
- Meilan (HAK), Qionghai Boao (BAR), and Phoenix (SYX) are different islands of effort. Landing at the wrong one is an intercity day.
- How many nights you remain is the provider’s unconfirmed windows, not a plan written here.
Provider-dependent timing
Provider-dependent on purpose. A later window that is not confirmed is not a block you can schedule, and it is not a recovery interval. The return flight stays off this page until those windows exist.
Example timetable
- Arrival. Choose the airport that matches the base: Meilan for Haikou, Qionghai Boao for Boao Lecheng, Phoenix for Sanya. A landing at one and a bed at another is an island transfer, not a local ride.
- Appointment. At least one window in the base you chose, and a later window only if the provider confirms it. Boao Super Hospital, Hainan General Hospital, and the Sanya traditional Chinese medicine hospital are separate listings. This itinerary does not assign you to them or describe their care.
- Accommodation. Nights in the same base as the windows. A Sanya bay hotel does not serve a Haikou morning. The count of nights is not a clinical length. Lodging is not yet bookable, and no rate is listed.
- Transfer. A road transfer from the matching airport, plus an island leg only when a second confirmed window is in another base. East-ring rail is a public timetable, not medical transport. Transfers are not yet bookable.
- Companion. A companion can share the longer ground stay. They are not a nurse for that stay. Their room is companion support and is not yet bookable.
Exclusions
- A fixed number of days after which you fly home
- A pilot-zone package or a medicine available only in Boao
- Sleeping in Sanya for a Haikou or Boao window
- Calling the extra nights a recovery
