Zhuhai is spread out. Jinwan Airport sits to the west, the hotels and the coast are in Xiangzhou, and Hengqin is a separate area with Chimelong and its own port. A private driver is useful when those places belong to one day, or when you arrive with luggage. A railway ride to the airport, a walk on Lovers' Road, or a walk through the border can be the better plan on its own.

Zhuhai Jinwan Airport
Zhuhai Jinwan Airport, code ZUH, is in Jinwan, west of Xiangzhou. A private airport transfer is a one-way ride to one hotel in Gongbei, Jida, or central Xiangzhou. It does not include sightseeing, and it does not cross the border. Hengqin, Doumen, and Tangjia are quoted on their own.
The Zhuhai–Zhuhai Airport intercity railway is the rail alternative. Service through to the airport opened on 3 February 2024. Working stops include Zhuhai, Hengqin, Zhuhai Changlong (Chimelong), and Zhuhai Airport. The Zhuhai stop is Zhuhai Railway Station at Gongbei. Hengqin North has been closed to passengers since 26 February 2024. Do not plan a connection or a pickup there. Check the timetable for your date. This guide does not treat any fare or frequency as permanent.
Airport buses serve selected city stops. Confirm the current stop and time before you rely on one. A bus follows a fixed route. It is not a pickup at your hotel door.
Zhuhai Railway Station and Hengqin Station
Zhuhai Railway Station is at Gongbei, next to the Macau boundary. The station-transfer estimate covers a one-way ride from that station to one nearby Gongbei or Xiangzhou hotel. Hengqin Station is a different station, and a pickup there is quoted separately. Zhuhai Changlong is the Chimelong stop on the airport railway, not the Gongbei station rate. Send the station name printed on your ticket.
Ports are different crossings
Gongbei, Qingmao, Hengqin Port, and the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge Zhuhai Port are different places. Jiuzhou Port is the Hong Kong ferry, and it is separate from the bridge. Name the port you mean.
A standard Zhuhai private car can drop you at an agreed point on the Zhuhai side. You then walk, or you use the port's own transport. The car does not enter Macau. Xiangzhou, Hengqin and the boundary
Xiangzhou is the main coastal district. Gongbei, Jida, Lovers' Road, and the Fisher Girl belong to this side of a Zhuhai day. Hengqin is a different endpoint: Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Hengqin Station, and Hengqin Port. A hotel transfer priced for Gongbei or Xiangzhou does not include Hengqin.
Doumen and Tangjia sit outside that same hotel transfer. Name them if they are your real address so the quote matches the drive.
The boundary is a walking procedure. If a port stop is part of the day, allow time for documents and queues. The Zhuhai car remains on the Zhuhai side. Waiting there has to be part of the agreed hours.

The direct one-way ride.

This is a transfer. The car meets you at the airport or at Zhuhai Railway Station and takes you to one hotel. There is no sightseeing built into the price. Send the flight or train number, the hotel address, the passenger count, and the luggage.

Bags, children, or a late arrival stay with one confirmed pickup instead of a search for a taxi or a bus stop.
Best for
Arrivals and departures when you want the vehicle and the meeting point arranged before you land or leave the train.
Limitations
A coastal stop is a different booking, not a free addition to the transfer. Hengqin, Hengqin Station, Doumen, and Tangjia are quoted separately. The ride does not cross into Macau.
A coastal Xiangzhou day
8 consecutive hours / 100 km.
RouteXiangzhou hotel → Lovers' Road and the Fisher Girl → another agreed coastal stop, such as the New Yuanming Palace area → the same hotel.
Start and finish at the same Xiangzhou hotel. Walk the waterfront and any pedestrian area. The car waits at the agreed roadside point and continues to the next stop. Choose a short list of places rather than trying to cover every bay. A shorter outing along Lovers' Road and around Gongbei can use the half-day allowance: 4 consecutive hours / 50 km, still inside Xiangzhou.
Why hire a driver?
The hotel, the waterfront, and a second coastal stop stay on one schedule, with the car ready at each pull-off.

A relaxed coastal day with one hotel base and time on foot.
Limitations
Hengqin and Chimelong are not part of this day. Macau is not included. Walking streets and the beachfront are on foot.

When you may not need a private driver
Take the airport railway when you are traveling light and Zhuhai, Hengqin, or Zhuhai Changlong is a practical station for your hotel. Skip Hengqin North. Walk Lovers' Road and the Fisher Girl when you are already in that part of Xiangzhou. Walk across to Macau when the port itself is the journey. A car on the Zhuhai side does not replace a driver in Macau after you have crossed.
Driver, guide or interpreter?
A driver handles the car, the route, and the meeting points. A guide walks with you and explains a place. An interpreter helps with a conversation you need handled in another language. Ask for the role you want. English-language booking support does not by itself mean the driver is your guide inside Chimelong, or that the driver speaks English. Say so before booking if an English-speaking driver matters for your trip.
