Customized Corporate Learning

Customized corporate learning is a private course a school builds with one employer for that employer’s own managers. CEIBS calls this a company-specific programme. It is not an open-enrolment date, not an MBA seat, and not a programme DragonTrail can propose in the school’s name.

Information checked 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai).

No public price, sample client we will name, or standard certificate appeared as a bookable offer. CEIBS describes shapes from a few days to many months. Named clients on some CEIBS regional pages are their examples, and we do not repeat them as hosts you can visit. DragonTrail has no faculty and no corporate catalogue.

At a Glance

CredentialNon-degree, unless a contract you sign with the school says otherwise. The public page describes learning solutions, not a master’s. Do not file this as an EMBA.
Host and facultyCEIBS says its faculty and a project team design the programme with the client. Delivery can be discussed with the school. We did not read a campus menu that an outsider can join.
Work experienceSet by the client and the brief, not by a national bar. The open-programme table’s “varies” line is for public courses. A custom cohort is whoever the employer nominates.
LanguageNot fixed on the page we read. A custom brief can ask for Chinese, English, or interpretation. Assume nothing until the proposal from CEIBS says so. We will not copy the MBA’s English rule.
CurriculumCEIBS publishes three shapes: a single module of two to three days on one topic, a multi-module run of six to eighteen months, and an advanced leadership block of one to two weeks. The topics inside are the client’s, not a public syllabus.
Company accessThe client’s own people are the participants. That is not access for a second company, and it is not a factory tour for a business school. Outside visitors are not part of this product.
CertificateUnstated on the public page. Attendance proof, if any, will be in the contract. It is not an MBA degree and not automatically a document for statutory educational leave.
ScheduleNo public calendar. Dates are negotiated. The open-enrolment dates elsewhere on the CEIBS site are for different products and must not be reused as your firm’s start day.
Employer papersThe employer is the client. CEIBS describes interviews with senior managers and a needs assessment before design. Those notes are the school’s process. DragonTrail does not collect them for CEIBS and does not sign the proposal.

A Contract With the School, Not a Seat on a List

Companies asking for customized learning in China usually want faculty, a China context, and a cohort made only of their managers. CEIBS’s company-specific page says it will design that programme around the firm’s challenges, and it offers three published lengths: two to three days on one discipline, six to eighteen months of modules aimed at a leadership pipeline, and one to two weeks of intensive leadership work. Those lengths are a menu of shapes. They are not a quote. No fee, deposit, or class size was on the page.

DragonTrail does not employ that faculty and does not stand in for CEIBS. Request Guidance on this website is a conversation with us about what kind of learning you are comparing. It is not a corporate proposal that CEIBS must honour. There is no public group-proposal form on the study site that files this contract. If your procurement team needs a vendor of record, the vendor for this product is the school, or another school you choose. We will not pretend to be that vendor.

Open Dates Belong to Other People

The open-enrolment calendar is a different door. A manager can enquire about Women in Leadership or a finance title as an individual. A custom programme does not publish those dates as your kickoff. Mixing them produces a false schedule: you tell the board that 12 November is your in-house finance day because that date sits on a public card. It may be a CEIBS classroom for strangers. It is not your contract.

Degree programmes are a third door. Sending high-potential managers into an MBA or EMBA is a multi-year admissions process with experience bars and, for the full-time MBA, a published tuition. A two-day custom module does not grant that degree, and the degree’s fee is not the module’s fee. The programme table keeps these rows apart. So should the brief you send the school.

What CEIBS Says the Design Steps Are

The company-specific page describes work that starts with the client’s strategy and culture, then interviews and a needs assessment, then design, delivery, and evaluation. It says each programme is different. That sentence is why this page has no sample week. A sample week would be an invention. Faculty are described as international and as bringing China depth. We do not name professors the page did not name, and we do not promise a particular teacher.

Regional CEIBS pages sometimes name firms that have used executive education. Those names are CEIBS’s examples of past or current clients. Repeating them here would look like a visitor list or a DragonTrail partnership. We leave them off. A firm that commissioned a classroom for its own managers has not agreed to host your managers, and has not agreed to be cited by us. Company access for anyone outside the contracting employer is not confirmed.

Papers the Employer Owns

Because the employer is the buyer, the paperwork runs through procurement and the school: a brief, a participant list, maybe a security review if the case discussion touches live numbers. None of that pack was published as a form we can link. Ask CEIBS what they need before a design meeting. An organisational chart, which appears in the full-time MBA application FAQ, is an individual admissions document. It is not the corporate-learning brief.

Certificate and attendance rules belong in the same unpublished contract. If HR needs a named credential for an internal promotion policy, write that requirement into the brief and see whether the school will issue it. Statutory educational leave is unlikely to be solved by a private in-house module, because recognition usually follows a provider and a course that a public body has already accepted. We did not see CEIBS claim that status for company-specific work. Four continuous days may also be the wrong shape for a statute that wants a teaching-hour pattern you have not been shown.

In-House Learning Is Not an Industry Visit

A leadership module taught in a hotel or on a campus does not become a manufacturing tour because the participants work in a plant. CEIBS’s shapes are teaching blocks. They do not list EV factories, robotics labs, or ports. If the learning goal is to stand on someone else’s line, you need that host’s permission. This product does not include it. A campus in 上海 is still a campus.

Study-tour groups from another business school are a different buyer again. They are not your employees, and a custom contract does not admit them. If what you wanted was a one-week immersion with outside companies, say that plainly and expect the answer that no host is confirmed. Do not launder a tour request through the words “corporate training” in the hope that a faculty contract opens factory gates.

A Brief You Can Send the School

A usable brief names the audience (your managers, not a mixed public class), the language they can work in, the number of days they can leave the job, the decision the programme should change, and whether you need a certificate or only a discussion. It also says you do not expect a degree and you do not expect a third-party site visit unless a host has already agreed. CEIBS can then say whether that brief fits a two-day module or a longer pipeline. We cannot say it for them.

Cost will come back as their number, for that brief, in that year. Until it does, the price cell on this page stays empty. Find a Suitable Program shows how study routes are organized for individuals. Request Guidance can help you tell a degree from a custom module. Neither button is a purchase order. Hotlines printed on CEIBS’s programme table are the school’s phone numbers, not ours. A brief that also asks for a factory tour should say the host is still unconfirmed, because a teaching contract does not open someone else’s plant.

These pages were read on 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). Tuition, language rules, and application windows change, and several dates on them have already passed. A CUCAS card is CUCAS’s listing. Use the current page from the school, or from the body that recognizes educational leave, before you act.

FAQ

Can DragonTrail send a corporate training proposal?

No. A company-specific programme is a contract between the employer and the school. Request Guidance does not bind CEIBS, and this site has no purchase path for faculty days. Ask the school for a proposal after you have a brief.

What lengths does CEIBS publish?

The company-specific page describes a single module of two to three days, a multi-module programme of six to eighteen months, and an advanced leadership block of one to two weeks. Those are shapes, not prices, and not your start date.

Is there a public fee?

Not on the page we read on 29 October 2026. The MBA’s RMB 488,000 and the open-course calendar are different products. A custom fee depends on days, cohort, and design work. We will not estimate it.

Can other companies join our cohort?

The product is described as tailor-made for the client’s own managers. It is not open enrolment. An outside visitor, a study-tour student, or another firm’s executive is not included unless the contract says so. We saw no such public clause.

Will the programme include a factory visit?

Not as a confirmed element. The page is about curriculum for your employees. It does not name plants, labs, or suppliers. Company access for anyone outside your own cohort is unconfirmed, and your own offices are not a tour we arrange.

What certificate will managers receive?

The public page does not say. It may be nothing more than attendance, or a document named in the contract. It is not an MBA or EMBA unless a degree admission happens separately. Ask for the exact paper before HR writes it into a promotion rule.

Which language will faculty use?

The page does not fix one. Write the working language into the brief. Do not assume English because the full-time MBA is in English, or Mandarin because the Chinese EMBA uses it. Interpretation is a design choice, not a default we can promise.

Does this count as educational leave?

Only if a recognizing body says so, and we did not see that claim. A private module for your own staff is often an internal training day instead. German Bildungsurlaub and similar schemes look at provider recognition, hours, and the workplace’s Land or country. A CEIBS design meeting does not settle that.

Compare study routes, or tell us the credential, the teaching language, and whether an employer is sending you. Neither button admits you to a business school or books a company visit.
