Family and Companion Stay
This sketch is about the second person. The city and the purpose are chosen elsewhere. The companion is not a nurse.

This is an example travel schedule. It is not a clinical protocol, a recovery plan, or a package of care.
Assumptions
- The patient’s city is one of the destination pages. This sketch does not pick it.
- The patient’s purpose is one care page. This sketch does not diagnose anyone in the party.
- The companion travels on overlapping dates. Different dates are a separate arrival, not a free add-on.
- Children, if any, are travelers with their own documents. Pediatric care is a different planning page.
Provider-dependent timing
The patient’s appointment still moves when the provider moves it. The companion’s day moves with that window. Nothing here is a family treatment plan.
Example timetable
- Arrival. Both people use the airport or station on the destination page you picked. If the companion lands later, that is a second pickup, not the same curb time.
- Appointment. The provider window belongs to the patient. A companion enters the room only if the provider says so. DragonTrail does not decide that, and does not explain the visit to the family.
- Accommodation. Two beds, or a second room if you ask for one, in the same campus area once the address is known. No rates. Accommodation and the extra bed are not yet bookable.
- Transfer. One vehicle sized for the whole party and their luggage, from the arrival you named to the night’s area and on to the campus. It is not yet bookable. It is not an ambulance.
- Companion. The companion gets a seat, a bed, and a timetable that stays with the patient. They are not a clinical caregiver, and companion support is not yet bookable. Sightseeing for them is ordinary travel, not a medical service.
Exclusions
- Nursing or childcare presented as care
- A clinical decision made by the companion
- A city chosen for the companion’s sightseeing
- A bundled family medical package
