Aranya Chongli is a mountain community with its own documented ski area, Shixuechuan (拾雪川). It is distinct from the better-known coastal Aranya in Qinhuangdao.

An accommodation-led ski break
Aranya's own site describes skiing, hotels and holiday accommodation within the community; a Hebei report identifies Shixuechuan by name. A stylish property does not establish included lessons, rentals or passes. Stronger skiers considering another resort need a separate transport and ticket plan.
Use the full Chongli destination name
Editorial road allowances: 3–4 hours from PEK or central Beijing, 4–5 hours from PKX and 1–1½ hours from ZQZ if a suitable flight operates. Specify 阿那亚·崇礼 / 拾雪川滑雪场, not simply Aranya.
Examine Chongli station first and confirm where your property collects. Provisionally allow 1–1½ hours on the Beijing train and 15–30 minutes for the road leg, plus waiting. Community access and ski access are separate
Choose hotel services or an apartment by actual reception, heating, breakfast and rental access. Ask about community entry, visitor registration and access to restaurants or cultural spaces. A ski ticket does not automatically grant every community privilege.
Year-round community operation does not establish 2026–27 ski dates or open terrain. Before a nonrefundable booking, confirm the operating notice, lesson language, equipment sizes and package inclusions. Natural snowfall and supplier availability are not guaranteed.
Two nights with one full learning day
Arrive and verify the following morning's lesson and equipment. Use the full day for instruction, warm lunch and manageable practice, then enjoy facilities open to your booking. On departure day choose breakfast or a short session with a clear equipment-return deadline before the station pickup.
