Usually not for the lanes and sights inside the walls. Walking is the natural way to explore the historic core. A driver is more useful for arrivals, luggage and visits outside town.
No. Send the train number and the station name from your ticket. Pingyaogucheng is the high-speed station; Pingyao Railway Station is a different pickup point.
Do not assume a door-to-door drop-off. We check the hotel location and vehicle access, then agree on a gate or other accessible meeting place and any remaining walk.
Taiyuan Wusu International Airport is the airport used for the transfers shown here. It is outside Pingyao, so book it as an intercity journey rather than a short local airport ride.
It can be arranged with a suitable schedule, but a focused route often gives a better visit. Wang with Zhangbi and Qiao as a separate half day are our starting options. Ask for a custom quote if you want both courtyards.
