Three private Fujian routes — five to seven days on the Heritage Classic from Xiamen through UNESCO Tulou villages to Quanzhou’s maritime heritage, two to four days focused on Xiamen and Gulangyu, or nine to twelve days for Highlights that add Wuyishan’s tea mountains. Fujian Province, China — not Mount Fuji.

Choose a Fujian route

Private, quote-led sample routes for Fujian Province (China — not Mount Fuji). Classic is the usual first trip: Xiamen and Gulangyu, UNESCO Tulou villages on the Yongding / Nanjing corridor, then Quanzhou maritime heritage. Essence stays in the island city with an optional Tulou day trip. Highlights adds Wuyishan tea mountains north of the coastal spine. Xiapu mudflats, Meizhou Mazu, Zhangzhou beaches, and Guangdong Chaoshan fold-ins stay custom. The set routes stay Classic, Essence, and Highlights.

Gulangyu island lanes and Xiamen waterfront

2–4 DAYS

Xiamen Essence

Island-city days — Gulangyu, Nanputuo, beaches and food — with an optional Tulou day trip from Xiamen when nights allow, without the multi-base Classic commitment.

Wuyishan tea mountains on a Fujian Highlights circuit

9–12 DAYS

Fujian Highlights

Classic coastal spine plus Wuyishan tea mountains and river gorges with recovery buffers. Xiapu, Meizhou, and Guangdong Chaoshan stay optional flavor on quote — not required stops.

Why book directly with DragonTrail?

  • Private Vehicle

Your vehicle for the group — no shared tour bus clock between Xiamen, Tulou villages, Quanzhou, or Wuyishan.

  • Coast vs Mountains Clarity

Classic means the coastal heritage spine. Essence means Xiamen-first. Highlights adds Wuyishan. We do not sell Mount Fuji or a vague “south China” blur on this page.

  • Tulou + Gulangyu Honesty

Village pacing, ferry queues, and earthen-house etiquette are real. We protect mornings in Tulou courtyards and Gulangyu lanes — not a rushed checklist.

  • English-speaking Guide

An English-speaking guide on sightseeing days, scoped in the plan we send you.

  • Tea + Typhoon Pacing

Wuyishan trails and summer typhoon windows need different days. We match season and ferry weather instead of a coach timetable.

  • No Shopping Stops

Routes stay on island cities, UNESCO villages, maritime heritage, and tea mountains. We do not insert shopping stops.

How It Works

  1. Send Your Dates

Share XMN / FOC / Quanzhou arrival, start date, party size, and whether Classic coast, Xiamen Essence, or Highlights (+Wuyishan) matters.

  2. Confirm a Route Shape

We reply with a realistic Classic, Essence, or Highlights shape — including rail/road notes between bases — and a quote before you pay.

  3. Meet in Xiamen, Fuzhou, or Quanzhou

Your driver meets you at Xiamen Gaoqi (XMN), Fuzhou Changle (FOC), your hotel, or a Tulou / Wuyishan gateway when that base fits the plan.

  4. Coast and Mountain Days

Gulangyu, Tulou, Quanzhou, and Wuyishan only when that route is the one you confirmed.

  5. Flexible Daily Pacing

Ferry queues, village hours, and weather can shift a day. We adjust the agreed plan instead of locking you to a bus timetable.

Jason was wonderful! He was very responsive, had great insight on the best areas to hike, and was genuinely kind. As a solo female traveler I felt safe 100% of the time — I would definitely book again and recommend him to friends.
