What the Environment Cluster Actually Covers

School of Environment at 北京师范大学 is a catalog cluster, not a national sustainability ranking. The names we could read are Environmental Engineering and Science, with Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering inside that heading, and a double bachelor’s called Environmental Engineering that pairs statistics with environmental engineering. Those are degree words on a 2026 international catalog. A summer field school, a corporate ESG visit, or a volunteer tree-planting week is not any of them. If a home authority needs the words “environmental science” rather than “ecological engineering” on the parchment, ask the faculty which sentence produces that wording. We will not guess from the cluster title.

Ecological engineering and a statistics double award are different workloads even when they share a school. The double bachelor’s adds a statistics name. Mathematics and Statistics is where BNU’s mathematics row lives, and it is not this environment cluster. Geographical Science, in another college, includes a natural resources and environmental science track. Natural Sciences holds physics, chemistry, and that geography family. Filing the geography track because the English contains “environmental” sends the statement to the wrong school. Read the college name before you pay the 500 RMB fee on a future catalog.

Chinese Instruction and the HSK Floor

Teaching on the 2026 BNU international brochure is in Chinese for four years. The page does not offer an English-taught environment bachelor’s in the sections we used. Do not borrow Tsinghua’s English Zijing engineering guide, where instruction is in English and Chinese is not required, and do not borrow its 100,000 RMB year. That guide names civil and systems fields inside an engineering program. It does not retitle itself as environmental science. Engineering in China keeps the Zijing fee and the English test that has no printed cutoff.

The HSK certificate for an environment major has to reach level 5 with a score of at least 180, and the test date must be 1 November 2023 or later on that brochure. HSK 4 at 180 is reserved for Chinese as a Second Language and for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at the Zhuhai campus. Environment is outside those exceptions. A reading habit in translation does not replace the certificate. China Agricultural University’s 2027 notice raises the general international bar to HSK 5 as well. Its 2026 notice had asked for HSK 4 in general and HSK 5 at 250 only for veterinary medicine. Use the notice year you are actually filing.

Who the Closed Brochure Counted as an Applicant

Filing for the 2026 BNU international bachelor’s ended at the close of 15 March 2026, China Standard Time. The window had opened on 15 November 2025. The application fee was 500 RMB and was not refundable. The personal statement had to be handwritten in Chinese. A typed page was refused. CSCA was required, and the catalog lists subjects per major. Two majors meant two interviews. Results were notified from June 2026. On 29 October 2026 that cycle is a record, not a form you can still submit. Age on that brochure is 18 to 40, with a date of birth after 31 August 1986. Applicants under 18 on 1 September 2026 needed a guardian, and the guardian rule differed between Beijing and Guangdong by campus.

Passport validity had to run past 31 March 2027 on that brochure. The Chinese version of the brochure prevails when the English and Chinese texts disagree. False materials cancel status. You cannot enroll at two institutions. Nationality checks point at Ministry of Education 教外函〔2020〕12号. DragonTrail cannot repair a passport story. The office address on the brochure is A103, Main Building, 19 Xinjiekouwai Street, Haidian, Beijing 100875, with bk@bnu.edu.cn and +86-10-5880-5563. Those are the university’s. A late email does not reopen 15 March.

A First-Class Label at China Agricultural University

中国农业大学’s English notice of 3 September 2026 lists Agricultural Resources and Environment among nine first-class discipline labels, beside Biology, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science and Engineering, Crop Science, Plant Protection, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, and Grass Science. The notice uses those names to describe the university. It does not print them as an enrollment menu. The major list is an xlsx file named on the page. We did not parse that spreadsheet, so this article will not invent an environmental-engineering seat, a credit total, or a separate environment tuition at CAU. Agriculture and Food Science holds the single 20,000 RMB international line and the window that opens on 1 November 2026.

A first-class discipline label is the university’s own description of a field. It is not a 双一流 ranking we assign, and it is not a seat you can pay for on the HTML. The 2027 international tuition on that notice is one number, 20,000 RMB a year, for the international undergraduate intake as a whole. Application fee 400 RMB, not refundable. Shared rooms are printed at 1,000 to 1,600 RMB a month. Insurance is 800 RMB a year. None of those figures is an environment-only sticker. The domestic gaokao charter, with its own agronomy and general fees, is a different audience. Do not paste it onto this international notice.

Housing, Visas, and What the Diploma Does Not Promise

Dormitory booking for Beijing campus students in that closed BNU cycle ran from 09:00 on 1 July 2026 to 12:00 on 15 August 2026 and has passed. Full Chinese Government Scholarship students and International Chinese Teacher Scholarship students were told not to book. Zhuhai dormitory rent of 7,500 RMB a person a year belongs to the Phoenix School campus and is not a Haidian environment room. Off-campus addresses require police registration within 24 hours. An X1 visa plus a JW201 or JW202 form is the path the brochure describes after admission. CAU’s 2027 notice, for people it admits, uses an X1 and a JW202 and asks for the residence permit within 30 days. Use the notice of the university that actually admits you.

Recognition of an environment degree for a professional license sits with the authority at home and with the Chinese university’s own diploma rules. Nothing on these pages says the bachelor’s is a license to practise as an environmental engineer, an auditor, or a government inspector. Laboratory hours, a thesis, and a field course are curriculum. They are not a job offer. Scholarships named on the BNU brochure, including the university’s new-student award, the Silk Road Muduo scholarship, the Beijing government scholarship, and the national schemes on campuschina.org, are applications with their own rules. A scholarship sentence is not a discount you can book with us. Cost of Studying is the place to add housing after the tuition cell is known.

How To Compare an Environment Offer Without a Ranking

A reader who averages 27,700 RMB at Beijing Normal University with 20,000 RMB at China Agricultural University produces a fee no cashier will take. The first figure is a science, engineering, and arts band on a closed 2026 brochure, and it is not even pinned to the environment row. The second is one international line on a 2027 notice whose window had not opened on 29 October 2026. Tsinghua’s 100,000 RMB English engineering year is a third document. League words such as 985, 211, and 双一流 are glossary on Universities and Schools. They do not choose the laboratory, and they do not reopen a passed deadline.

If the next BNU catalog isolates a digit on the environment row, send that page and we can read the cell against this note. We cannot sit CSCA, we cannot handwrite the statement, and we cannot parse a spreadsheet the university has not put in the HTML. How To Apply orders passports and transcripts. What To Study is the hub above this major. Pay 500 RMB or 400 RMB only against the live page whose degree words match the parchment you need. A closed PDF is a source, not an offer.
