Sample Educational Itineraries
Sample educational itineraries for China show the shape of a week so a leader can see class time beside rest. They are examples only. No school, museum, or company was asked, and DragonTrail does not sell these weeks.
Information checked 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai).
Nothing in the tables is requested or confirmed. City names are settings for an example, not hosts. Article 38 still requires an agreement before a Chinese school accepts a short-term 团组. Article 45’s short-term count is 180 days. No price sits beside any day.
At a Glance
| Who this is for | Leaders who need to see the shape of a week. The shape is a template, not a trip you can buy. |
|---|---|
| Clock | Example lengths sit inside a short calendar. They do not reserve dates, and they do not replace the 180-day rule. |
| Money | No price on any day. Flights, tickets, meals, and housing stay unpriced. DragonTrail has no bundled fare. |
| Who decides | A host school confirms a day only in its own writing. A consulate stamps visas. DragonTrail confirms nothing in the tables. |
| Papers | Your own revised week, plus Article 38 if a school will receive the group, and invitation fields that match the real places. |
| Outcome | A planning picture with every row marked not requested. Not a coach, not a museum ticket, and not a grade. |
| Easy to mix up | Pasting an example city into an invitation before any host has agreed. |
| Worked example | A leader copies the spring-week shape, deletes Beijing if the host is elsewhere, and leaves status as not requested until letters arrive. |
| What we do not do | DragonTrail does not sell these weeks, hold a date, or mark a row confirmed. |
These Weeks Are Examples, Not Bookings
Read every row as a template. The status line is “Example only. Not requested.” A day that says “class” means a learning block you still have to place with a real school. A day that says “museum” means a type of visit, not a ticket. Article 38 is untouched by a pretty week: the Chinese school and your sending unit still sign before a short-term group is accepted. DragonTrail cannot turn an example into a reservation by repeating it.
A City Name Is a Setting, Not a Request
An example may say Beijing because readers need a concrete setting. That sentence is not a request to a university, a primary school, or a museum in Beijing, and it is not a statement that those doors are open. Shanghai or another city would teach the same planning point. No provincial bureau was asked. If your group needs a specific gate, you ask that institution. Until it writes yes, the status stays not requested.
Class Time and a Visit Are Different Lines
Keep class hours, a supervised outing, and a free evening on separate lines so a board can see duty of care. For primary and secondary groups, Article 38 still wants a guardian from the sending unit. Article 20’s teaching practice is a higher-education plan, so do not cite it as the lesson for a grade-school example. Article 29 and Article 26 mean a campus day should not smuggle in a religious gathering, military training, or a political rally. The example weeks do not include those.
| Spring-week example | Five weekday learning blocks and a weekend with no tickets assumed. Setting: one city. Example only. Not requested. |
|---|---|
| Graduation example | Eight days with class blocks and one off-campus type of visit. Not a university admission. Example only. Not requested. |
| Regional example | Two cities over ten days, with a travel day marked as transport, not as teaching. Example only. Not requested. |
| Adult CPD example | Four observation sessions for teachers, language unconfirmed. Not a teaching license. Example only. Not requested. |
| Status of every row | Example only. Not requested. No school, museum, company, or venue has been asked. |
Rest Days Are Not a Promise of Tickets
A rest day in an example is unstructured time, not a purchased excursion. Tickets, meals, and hotels stay in the cost categories on the costing page, all unpriced. The Sweden note’s F invitation, if a consulate is looking at a study tour, still needs dates and places that match what you will really do. Copying an example’s city into an invitation before a host agrees can make the invitation false. Change the example first.
Change the Example Before You Treat It as a Plan
Replace the setting, the number of days, and the learning blocks so they match your students’ ages and your host’s written yes. A ten-day example is not Article 45’s permission; it only sits inside the 180-day short-term count if the activity is study. The 2021 work-study hour caps are not a way to schedule a class. They do not apply to a visiting school group. Visa category remains the consulate’s decision: F, X2, M, or Z, depending on purpose.
Status on Every Row Is Not Requested
If a row is silent, read it as not requested. We will not add “confirmed” later without a host’s document, and this Soft does not contain one. There is no price, no coach company, and no emergency vendor. Find a Suitable Program compares study routes. Request Guidance takes ages, length, and whether a school has already agreed. Neither button books the spring week, the graduation week, or the regional example.

These pages were read on 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). A fee, an hour cap, and an application window belong to the office named in the link. If a date has passed, or a line on a visa note looks incomplete, the page says so. None of this is a placement or a group visit DragonTrail can reserve, and none of it is legal advice.

Category lines for F, X1, X2, and Z, and the invitation fields for an F visa, are this note. The embassy decides the category. The Z reminder, as fetched, prints “000 days”; that is not a stay length used here. — retrieved 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai)

FAQ
Can I book a sample week?
No. Every row is an example that was not requested. No school, museum, or company has been asked. DragonTrail does not sell the week.
Why does an example mention a city?
Readers need a concrete setting. The city is not a request and not a statement that a campus or a museum is open. Change it to match a host that has agreed.
Does a ten-day example fit the short-term rule?
If the activity is study, Article 45 counts short-term as no more than 180 days, including the 180th day. Ten days sits inside that count. The example is still not permission to travel.
Are museum days ticketed?
No. A museum line is a type of visit. Tickets are a separate, unpriced cost. Nothing was purchased.
Do these weeks include hotels?
No. Housing is a cost category with no rate. An example does not hold a room, and DragonTrail does not bundle a hotel into the sample week.
Can I paste the example into a visa invitation?
Only after the places and dates are true. The Sweden F fields ask for real dates and places. An example copied too early can make the invitation false.
Will you mark a row confirmed later?
Only if a host’s own document says yes. This page does not contain that document. Silence means not requested.
Do the buttons reserve the spring week?
No. Find a Suitable Program compares study routes. Request Guidance does not sign Article 38 or book a day.
