Curriculum and Learning Design

Curriculum and learning design for study travel in China is your proposal of aims and activities. It becomes the host’s plan only if that school adopts it. DragonTrail does not approve a syllabus and does not award credit.

Information checked 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai).

No Chinese school reviewed a syllabus for this page. Article 18 names the national common language as the basic teaching language. Article 20 places 教学实习 and 社会实践 inside the higher-education school’s own teaching plan. Article 21 leaves certificates to that school. No credit value is stated.

Who this is forFaculty and teachers drafting aims for a group. The draft is not the host’s teaching plan.
ClockDesign the length against the 180-day line if you call it study. No term is scheduled here.
MoneyNo tuition on this page. Interpreter costs are your budget, unpublished here. Host fees are the host’s list.
Who decidesThe Chinese school adopts or refuses the aims. A consulate stamps visas. DragonTrail approves neither.
PapersA proposal with hours, sites marked unconfirmed, language marked unconfirmed, and the Article 38 conversation started.
OutcomeAims a host can teach. Not credit, not a license hour, and not a booked museum.
Easy to mix upMarking a home letter as the Chinese school’s certificate, or assuming English.
Worked exampleA department writes five aims, asks one host which it can teach, and deletes the rest before families see a date.
What we do not doDragonTrail does not approve a syllabus, award credit, or set a tuition for the design.

Learning Aims Are Yours Until a Host Adopts Them

Write observable aims: what a student will read, visit, practice, and be able to describe afterward. Label the document as a proposal. A Chinese school has not signed it. Article 38’s agreement is about accepting a 团组, not about adopting your unit plans, but the two belong in the same conversation. If the host will not teach the aims, take them out. DragonTrail will not stamp “approved” on a worksheet.

The Teaching Plan Is the Chinese School’s Document

Article 20 says a higher-education school organizes teaching practice and social practice according to its teaching plan, and the place must follow national rules. That plan is not a file on this website. For primary and secondary groups, confirm the curriculum and applicable provincial teaching requirements with the receiving school. Your aims can sit beside the host’s plan. They do not replace it.

Article 18 Names the National Common Language

The basic teaching language is the national common language. A school may add foreign-language courses if it can. A design that assumes every session is in English has to be checked with the host. Put a line in the proposal: language unconfirmed. Do not fill it with a guess because a previous group had an interpreter. Interpreters, if you hire them, are a budget category, not a sentence in the order, and we have no interpreter rate.

Certificates Come From the School, If It Issues Them

Article 21 allows a higher-education school to issue the academic certificate national rules permit. A completion letter you print at home is not that certificate. Do not promise credit, a transcript line, or a license hour. The 2021 work-study measures are not a curriculum: they cap spare-time jobs for enrolled university students and exclude teaching practice that is already in the teaching plan. A client project for a firm is not a unit of study unless the host and the permission agree.

A Syllabus on This Site Is Not Approved

Sample weeks elsewhere in this cluster are examples of shape: class days, a field block, a rest day. They are not lessons a school has accepted, and the status line is “example only, not requested.” Article 26 and Article 29 tell you not to build military training, political activities, or religious gatherings into a campus program. If your aims need a company or a museum, mark that site unconfirmed. No site was asked.

Write What Students Will Do, Not a Grade You Cannot Give

A useful proposal lists hours, sites, and who supervises, and it leaves visa category to the consulate. F, on the Sweden note, is exchanges, visits, and study tours. X2 needs an admission notice for study of no more than 180 days. The proposal is not either paper. Article 45’s 180-day count belongs in the design if you call the trip study. DragonTrail will read a question about aims. It will not sign the host’s teaching plan or publish a tuition.

These pages were read on 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). A fee, an hour cap, and an application window belong to the office named in the link. If a date has passed, or a line on a visa note looks incomplete, the page says so. None of this is a placement or a group visit DragonTrail can reserve, and none of it is legal advice.

FAQ

Will a Chinese school accept our syllabus?

Only that school can say. Article 20, for higher education, follows the host’s teaching plan. Your document is a proposal until the host adopts it.

Can the course be designed in English?

You may draft it in English. Article 18 says the basic teaching language is the national common language, with foreign-language courses only if the school can offer them. Confirm with the host.

Can you award credit?

No. Article 21 leaves academic certificates to the higher-education school. A letter from home is not that certificate.

Do provincial schools have a national syllabus we should copy?

Article 2 sends primary and secondary teaching management to provincial rules. Confirm current requirements and availability directly with the relevant institution.

Are sample weeks a curriculum?

No. They show shape only, and they are labeled as examples that were not requested. No lesson has been accepted by a host.

Where do internships fit in a group syllabus?

Article 20’s practice has to be the host’s plan and a lawful site. Article 30 still forbids employment and business. Work-study caps are for enrolled university students, not a visiting class.

What visa does a designed course use?

If it is a study tour, read the F description. If a school admits students for no more than 180 days, read X2 and its admission notice. The proposal itself is neither paper. The embassy decides.

Do you charge to review aims?

No review fee is published, and this page does not approve a syllabus. The buttons ask for guidance or point at study routes. They do not sign a teaching plan.

Compare study routes, or tell us the ages in the group, the length of the trip, and whether a school in China has already agreed to host. Neither button reserves a visit, sets a price, or signs an approval.
