Sports and Outdoor Skills

Sports and outdoor skills in China, from the pages opened 29 October 2026, means badminton or ping pong named on a language-school add-on list, not a camp with a trail and a guide. DragonTrail has no outdoor program, and a field day stays a request until a host confirms access, fitness, and insurance.

Information checked 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai).

DragonTrail has no sports intake, no outdoor program, and no fee of its own. No outdoor-school or trekking-host page was opened on 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). Badminton and ping pong appear only as names on LTL’s add-on list, with no standalone price. No hiking route, Great Wall study hike, guide fee, or trip date is printed here, because none was on a page we opened.

At a Glance

Who this is forA reader checking whether any opened page is a sports camp or an outdoor school. Not a trekker we can send onto a route, because no route page was opened.
What was namedBadminton and ping pong, on LTL’s list of activities that can be added to Chinese lessons. They are names. They are not priced as their own courses.
HostThe only host that names those two activities is LTL Mandarin School Beijing, at 建国路88号现代城SOHO B座 504. That building is a language school. DragonTrail is not an outdoor outfitter.
Not a campLTL’s school-trip row is a group language trip: five to ten students, seven days, 11,020 CNY, with 20 hours of Chinese a week. It is not an individual sports camp.
Not martial practiceChenjiagou’s homepage describes foreign students training more than five hours a day, six days a week. That is martial practice in 陈家沟, not a sports camp and not a hike.
Field dayA field day is a request until a host confirms access, fitness, and insurance. No outdoor school confirmed any of those three, because no outdoor school page was opened.
MoneyNo sports fee and no guide fee is quoted. LTL’s language prices start at USD 387 a week for a group and USD 774 for one-to-one. Those buy Chinese lessons, not a trail.
Not confirmedNo hiking route, no Great Wall study hike, no guide name, and no outdoor date. Printing any of those would invent a trip the opened pages do not contain.
What we do not doWe do not enroll you, confirm a visit, or run an outdoor program. DragonTrail has no sports intake and no trail to sell.

Two Names on an Add-On List

Sports, on the pages opened for this note, begins and nearly ends with two words. LTL’s Beijing page lists activities that can be added to language study, and the list includes badminton and ping pong. The same list includes a tea house, Beijing Opera, pottery, kung fu spelled “kong fu class”, tai chi spelled “tai qi class”, calligraphy, and Chinese cooking. The page does not price those names as standalone courses. A pair of racquet sports on a language menu is not a sports school.

The summer-camp shape around that list is Chinese study for four hours, Monday to Friday, then an afternoon activity. The sample timetable says activities vary every week. The activity range in one sentence runs from Beijing opera mask painting to Shaolin Kung Fu lessons. That range is still a language school’s afternoon, not a sports camp and not a temple class. The Friday sample cell reads Taijiquan Cultural Classes, which is a movement label on a sample, not a fixture list.

  • Badminton and ping pong are names on LTL’s add-on list only.
  • A sample week that varies is not a season of matches.

A Group Language Trip Is Not a Camp

LTL’s school-trip table, read against this sports question, is a group language trip in CNY per student. The row we kept is five to ten students, seven days, 11,020 CNY. It includes 20 hours of Chinese a week, meals, accommodation, and transport. It does not say the seven days are a sports camp, and it does not name a court, a coach, or a trail. Calling it an individual sports week would change the product the table describes.

The language prices beside that table are also language prices. Group study starts at USD 387 a week. The page says the group maximum is six and the average is “just 3”. One-to-one starts at USD 774 a week. Those figures buy Chinese lessons at 建国路88号现代城SOHO B座 504. They do not buy badminton as its own course, and they do not buy a guide for a day outside. The building in that address is not a trailhead.

  • 11,020 CNY is a group language trip for five to ten students, not a private sports week.
  • USD 387 and USD 774 stay on Chinese lessons, not on a court rental.

Martial Hours Are Not a Field Sport

Chenjiagou’s homepage is easy to misread as outdoor training, and the misreading should stop at the words it actually uses. The school says it is in the center of 陈家沟, which it calls the birthplace of tai chi. That birthplace claim is theirs. Foreign students, it says, train in groups of at most 15, six days a week, more than five hours a day, with full room and board in a hotel-style private single room. That is martial practice. It is not a sports camp and not a hike.

The class, style, and master cards repeat the housing sentence and do not name a teacher or a start date. The tuition page was not opened, so this sports page quotes no Chenjiagou fee and does not turn the village into a priced activity week. No phone from that homepage is printed here, because the text we kept did not include one. A six-day practice block without a fee, a teacher, or a date is still not a trail itinerary.

  • More than five hours a day in 陈家沟 is martial practice, not a field sport.
  • No Chenjiagou fee is quoted, because the tuition page stayed closed.

No Trail Was Printed

No outdoor-school page and no trekking-host page was opened, so this sports note names no route. A hiking line is not described. A Great Wall study hike is not described. No guide’s name, no guide’s price, and no departure morning appear, because none of those facts was on a page we opened on 29 October 2026. Inventing a ridge, a gate, or a van call time would be a different article. This one stops.

Other campuses we did open are not outdoor bases either. 中国戏曲学院’s English index is a theatre-arts academy, short name 国戏, at No.400 Wanquansi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing 100073. Its 2026 degree window, 1 January to 31 May, had closed, and its PDFs were not opened. 欢迎加入国戏 is a welcome line, not a permit to walk a hill. A closed theatre prospectus does not become a trekking host by being the only other address in the folder.

  • Neither a hiking route nor a Great Wall study hike is written here.
  • 国戏’s campus address is a theatre academy, not a trailhead.

Access, Fitness, and Insurance

A field day, if you still want one, stays a request until a host confirms three things: access, fitness, and insurance. Access means the host says you may enter the place on that day. Fitness means the host, not this page, says what the day demands of a body. Insurance means the host says what cover the day requires. None of the three was printed on LTL’s activity list, on Chenjiagou’s homepage, or on the academy index. DragonTrail cannot confirm them, because DragonTrail has no outdoor program.

We also do not confirm a visit to the language school’s afternoon, even when the afternoon is badminton or ping pong on a list. A name on a list is not a court booking. The sample varies every week. Until LTL says that activity is actually running in the week you mean, the cell is only a name. Until some other host, one this file has not opened, writes down a route, there is no outdoor day to accept.

  • Access, fitness, and insurance are the host’s answers, not ours.
  • A listed activity that varies every week is not a confirmed court.

What DragonTrail Will Not Arrange

DragonTrail enrolls nobody and confirms no visit. There is no sports intake on this site and no outdoor product to add a traveler to. The buttons explain how to read the public pages we opened, and they open a guidance form. They do not hire a guide, reserve a court, file a 国戏 application, or tell Chenjiagou that you are arriving for a hike. The village page did not offer a hike. We will not add one.

If you ask for guidance, say what you actually saw: a language week in Beijing with activities that can include badminton or ping pong, or a martial homepage that is not a sport, or a wish for a field day that no host in this file has confirmed. Name the month and the city you can live in. Say if you need English. Do not send medical files or a route you hope we will bless. We have no trail to bless, and we have no fee for one.

  • Guidance does not hire a guide or reserve a court.
  • A wish for a field day stays a request until a host writes back.

These pages were read on 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). A price, a sample week, and an application window belong to the host named in the link. If a date has passed, or a PDF was not opened, the page says so. None of this is a workshop DragonTrail can reserve, and none of it is a family visit or a field site we have confirmed.

FAQ

Are badminton and ping pong a sports course?

Not on the page we opened. They are names on LTL’s list of activities that can be added to Chinese lessons, beside opera, pottery, kung fu, tai chi, calligraphy, and cooking. The list is not priced as standalone courses. Group language study starts at USD 387 a week. That figure is not a court fee.

Is the 11,020 CNY school trip a sports camp?

No. It is a group language trip for five to ten students over seven days, at 11,020 CNY per student, including 20 hours of Chinese a week, meals, accommodation, and transport. LTL does not describe that row as an individual sports camp. DragonTrail does not relabel it as one.

Is Chenjiagou training an outdoor sports week?

No. The homepage describes martial practice: foreign students in groups of at most 15, six days a week, more than five hours a day, with full room and board in a hotel-style private single room. It names no trail. The tuition page was not opened, so no fee is quoted, and no teacher or start date was on the cards.

Which hiking route does this page recommend?

None. No outdoor-school page and no trekking-host page was opened on 29 October 2026. A hiking route, a Great Wall study hike, a guide, and a price would all be inventions. This guide does not print them. A field day stays a request until a host confirms access, fitness, and insurance.

Does DragonTrail run an outdoor program?

No. DragonTrail has no outdoor program, no sports intake, and no fee of its own. We enroll nobody and we confirm no visit. LTL’s address, 建国路88号现代城SOHO B座 504, is a language school. It is not a base we operate, and it is not a trailhead.

Can the theatre academy stand in as an outdoor host?

No. 中国戏曲学院 is a theatre-arts academy, short name 国戏, at No.400 Wanquansi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing 100073. The 2026 degree window had closed, and the PDFs were not opened. 欢迎加入国戏 is not a permit for a field day. We do not send you there to hike.

What must a host confirm before a field day?

Access, fitness, and insurance. Access is permission to enter. Fitness is what the day asks of you. Insurance is the cover the host says the day needs. None of those lines was on the pages we opened. Until a named host writes them, the day does not exist as a plan we can repeat.

What should I send if I ask for guidance?

The month, the city you can live in, and whether you mean a language week that lists badminton or ping pong, or a field day no host here has confirmed. Say if you need English. Do not send a route for us to approve. The form does not hire a guide and does not enroll you.

Compare study routes, or tell us the skill, the city, and whether you need a single class, a studio week, or a credit-bearing term. Neither button enrolls you, reserves a kiln or a kitchen, or confirms a family or field visit.
