Dance and Chinese Opera
Dance and Chinese opera in China, on the pages opened 29 October 2026, is a closed degree window at 中国戏曲学院 or an afternoon name on an LTL language timetable. No dance-academy page was opened, and 戏曲 on the academy index is theatre arts, not a general dance studio.
Information checked 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai).
DragonTrail has no dance intake, no opera intake, and no fee of its own. The academy PDFs were not opened, so no major, audition rule, short-term fee, or class hour is quoted. No dance-academy page and no company residency was opened. An LTL afternoon of opera mask painting is not a degree at 国戏.
At a Glance
| Who this is for | A reader separating a language-school afternoon from a theatre academy’s closed degree window. Not a dancer we can place in a company, because no company page was opened. |
|---|---|
| Two products | LTL names Beijing opera mask painting and Beijing Opera as activities around Chinese lessons. 中国戏曲学院 links degree guides and a short-term guide. Those are not the same contract. |
| Host | The academy at No.400 Wanquansi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing 100073, short name 国戏, or LTL at 建国路88号现代城SOHO B座 504. DragonTrail is neither desk. |
| Window | The 2026 degree application ran from 1 January to 31 May and had closed by 29 October 2026. A closed window describes that prospectus. It does not invite a new file. |
| What we did not open | The bachelor, master’s, and short-term PDFs stayed closed. No major, no audition rule, no short-term fee, and no class hour is quoted from them. No dance-academy page was opened. |
| Not a dance studio | 戏曲 is Chinese theatre arts. The index is not a general dance studio, and 中央音乐学院’s thin English page is a conservatory note, not a dance residency. |
| Money | No academy fee is quoted. LTL group language study starts at USD 387 a week and one-to-one at USD 774. Those figures buy Chinese lessons, even if an afternoon is labelled opera. |
| Hours | LTL’s summer camp studies Chinese four hours, Monday to Friday, then an afternoon activity, and the sample varies every week. The academy index does not print a class hour, because the PDFs were not opened. |
| What we do not do | We do not enroll you at 国戏, reserve a mask-painting seat, or invent a dance-company residency. DragonTrail confirms no visit. |
An Afternoon of Masks Is Not a Degree
Opera on the language-school page is an afternoon name, and it should stay that small. LTL’s Beijing summer camp studies Chinese for four hours, Monday to Friday, then afternoon activities. The page says those activities range from Beijing opera mask painting to Shaolin Kung Fu lessons. Mask painting is the near end of that sentence. It is not an audition, not a role, and not a term at 中国戏曲学院. The sample timetable says activities vary every week, so the sentence is not a calendar.
Beijing Opera also appears in the list of activities that can be added, beside a tea house, pottery, kung fu spelled “kong fu class”, tai chi spelled “tai qi class”, calligraphy, Chinese cooking, badminton, and ping pong. The list is not priced as standalone craft courses. Adding “Beijing Opera” to a language week does not create the degree the academy describes, and it does not create a dance class the academy did not describe. LTL is a language school at 建国路88号现代城SOHO B座 504.
- Mask painting is the near end of LTL’s activity-range sentence, not a major.
- “Beijing Opera” on the add-on list has no standalone price on that page.
The 2026 Window Has Closed
The degree window at 中国戏曲学院 is a dated fact, and the date has passed. The English admissions index says the 2026 degree application ran from 1 January to 31 May. On 29 October 2026 that window was closed. A closed window is a description of the prospectus we read. It is not an invitation to send a file late, and it is not a date DragonTrail can reopen. We do not enroll you in a window the school itself had already shut.
The same index links three guides: bachelor, master’s, and short-term, which the page marks as non-degree. Linking a guide is not the same as printing its rules on the index. We stopped at the index. Anyone who needs the inside of those guides has to open them. This page will not pretend that it did. 欢迎加入国戏 is a welcome line on the page. A welcome line is not an acceptance letter.
- 1 January to 31 May 2026 is a closed degree window, not a current intake.
- A welcome line, 欢迎加入国戏, does not accept you.
Linked Guides, Unopened PDFs
What the opera PDFs might contain is outside this page on purpose. They were not opened, so no major is named, no audition rule is quoted, no short-term fee is given, and no class hour is given. Short-term, non-degree study is acknowledged only as a link on the index. A link without its file is a signpost. It is not a price and not a timetable. DragonTrail has no opera fee to write in where the PDF was silent.
The address we can copy is the one on the index: No.400 Wanquansi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing 100073. That is the academy’s address, not a stage door we have booked and not a DragonTrail office. The short name on the page is 国戏. Use that name when you mean this academy. Do not use it when you mean an hour of mask painting on a language-school afternoon. The two hosts did not describe themselves as the same place.
- Unopened PDFs add no major, no audition rule, no fee, and no hour.
- No.400 Wanquansi Street is the academy’s address, not a reserved seat.
Theatre Arts Is Not a Dance Studio
Dance has no academy page in this file, and the theatre index cannot be stretched to cover it. 戏曲 is Chinese theatre arts. The English index is an admissions page for that academy. It is not a general dance studio, and it is not a schedule of open visitor classes. No dance-academy page was opened on 29 October 2026. Writing a studio week anyway would name a host that was not opened. This page does not do that.
A dance company residency is the same kind of blank. No company page was opened, so no residency, no rehearsal call, and no city for a company is stated. 中央音乐学院’s English index, opened for contrast, describes the conservatory and shows a 2017 scholarship line. It looks thin and old, it prints no 2026 intake and no fee, and it is not a dance residency. A conservatory news line does not become a company contract.
- 戏曲 names theatre arts, not a drop-in dance studio.
- No company residency was printed, so none is offered here.
Language Prices Do Not Buy an Academy Seat
Money on this dance-and-opera page, where any money exists, is LTL’s language money. Group study starts at USD 387 a week, maximum six students, average “just 3”. One-to-one starts at USD 774 a week. The school-trip row is 11,020 CNY per student for seven days, five to ten students, with 20 hours of Chinese a week, meals, accommodation, and transport. It is a group language trip. It is not an opera camp, not a dance camp, and not a term at 国戏.
Chenjiagou’s homepage, which we opened for other practical study, describes martial practice of more than five hours a day and does not describe opera or dance. Its tuition page was not opened, so it contributes no fee here either. Mixing that village clock with LTL’s afternoon and with a closed degree window would make a third product nobody published. Keep each figure on the host who printed it.
- USD 387 and USD 774 remain language prices when the afternoon is labelled opera.
- 11,020 CNY is a group language trip, not a place at the academy.
What This Page Will Not File
Carry a short label off this page: language afternoon, or closed degree window, or unknown because no dance page was opened. If you choose the academy, remember that the 2026 degree dates have passed and that the PDFs were not read. If you choose LTL, remember that mask painting and Beijing Opera are activities around four hours of Chinese, and that the sample varies every week. If you wanted a dance studio, say so, and expect no host name from us until a host page exists in the notes.
DragonTrail enrolls nobody and confirms no visit. Buttons on this route do not submit a 国戏 application, do not book mask painting, and do not place you in a company. If you ask for guidance, name the month, the city, and which of those products you mean. Say if teaching must be in English. LTL is a language school. The academy index does not say a short-term guide is taught in English, because we did not open it. Do not send an audition tape to this form.
- A closed prospectus is not a late application we can file for you.
- Guidance here does not reserve an afternoon or a degree place.

These pages were read on 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). A price, a sample week, and an application window belong to the host named in the link. If a date has passed, or a PDF was not opened, the page says so. None of this is a workshop DragonTrail can reserve, and none of it is a family visit or a field site we have confirmed.

FAQ
Is opera mask painting the same as studying at 国戏?
No. Mask painting is the near end of LTL’s sentence about afternoon activities on a language-school summer camp. 中国戏曲学院 is a theatre-arts academy at No.400 Wanquansi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing 100073. Its 2026 degree window had closed by 29 October 2026. DragonTrail does not treat the afternoon as a degree.
Can I still apply for the 2026 degree window?
The English index says the degree application ran from 1 January to 31 May 2026. That window had closed by 29 October 2026. This page does not reopen it and does not enroll you. A later window, if the academy prints one, was not on the index we read.
What is inside the bachelor, master’s, and short-term guides?
We do not know from this reading, because the PDFs were not opened. No major, no audition rule, no short-term fee, and no class hour is quoted. The index only links them, and it marks the short-term guide as non-degree. A link is not the document.
Is there a dance studio or a company residency on this page?
No. No dance-academy page was opened, and no dance company page was opened. 戏曲 on the academy index is Chinese theatre arts, not a general dance studio. 中央音乐学院’s English index is a thin conservatory page with a 2017 scholarship line, not a dance residency. We do not invent either host.
Does LTL price Beijing Opera as its own course?
Not on the page we opened. Beijing Opera is one activity that can be added. Group language study starts at USD 387 a week, and one-to-one at USD 774 a week. The sample week varies. Those prices are for the language product. They are not an academy fee, and the academy fee was not in the unopened PDFs.
What does 欢迎加入国戏 mean for an applicant?
It is a welcome line on the English index, next to the short name 国戏. It is not an acceptance, not a seat, and not proof that the closed 2026 window is open again. DragonTrail does not enroll you because a page welcomes readers. The application, if one exists later, is the academy’s.
Can DragonTrail confirm a visit to the academy?
No. We enroll nobody and we confirm no visit. The address No.400 Wanquansi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing 100073, is copied so you can see which campus the index named. Copying an address does not open the gate or hold a seat while you read.
What should I send if I ask for guidance?
Say whether you mean an LTL language week with an opera activity, a future academy application, or a dance studio we have not opened a page for. Add the month and whether you need English. Do not send an audition recording. The form does not submit you to 国戏 or to LTL.
