Gastroenterology: Visit Planning
The travel problem is a restricted morning and a ride home. The clinical instructions come only from the provider.
DragonTrail coordinates travel and logistics. We do not provide medical care.
This category is not a diagnosis. It does not say that a test, a treatment, or a trip is appropriate. The provider decides that.
Purpose of the visit
Use this category for a digestive consult or a procedure a gastroenterology provider has agreed to schedule. DragonTrail does not order endoscopy, diet, or medicine.
Questions for the provider
Ask the provider. These are not answers from DragonTrail.
- Is this a clinic visit or a procedure that needs preparation?
- If there is preparation, what time does it start, and may I stay at a hotel?
- Do I need an escort to leave?
- When may I eat and fly, according to you?
- Which earlier reports should I bring?
Institutional access
Endoscopy units are not the same door as a general clinic. We have not verified which named hospitals book international patients for this. Ask them.
Verification pending: which hospitals will see an international visitor for this purpose. The hospital directory is not a ranking and not a list of partners.
Papers and preparation
Do not attach full medical records in the first note to DragonTrail. The provider says which papers they want, and in which language. Record translation is a separate coordination task.
- Only the preparation sheet the provider issues. Do not follow a sheet from another country unless they say so.
- A companion’s contact if discharge requires one.
- Earlier reports the provider has named.
Travel considerations
If the provider orders prep, stay somewhere with a private bathroom and a short ride to the hospital. Do not schedule a flight, a train, or a banquet that morning. The day after is free only when the provider says so.
