Two-Week Study Stays
Two-week study stays in China are 14 days inside Article 45’s short-study line and still shorter than 北京语言大学’s shortest printed language course, which is four weeks. No fortnight start month was printed. DragonTrail does not run a two-week intake.
Information checked 29 October 2026 (Asia/Shanghai).
Fourteen days is a common school-holiday hope. The pages opened here do not list it. They list 4, 5, 6, 8, and 12 weeks without months, plus degree deadlines that are not holiday courses. A group of minors still needs Article 38’s traveling guardian if the stay is a primary or secondary group.

| Clock | 14 days, inside 180, no printed month. August registration dates had passed and were not this course. |
| Money | No fortnight fee and no honest credit price. The credit definition was not a tariff. |
| Who Decides | The school agrees a group or admits a student. The embassy chooses the category. |
| Papers | Admission notice or F invitation, plus group papers if pupils are traveling. |
| Easy to Mix Up | A credit defined as 18 to 20 class hours is not a two-week package. |
| Worked Example | A family with the last two weeks of July free cannot point to July on the grid. July was not printed. |
| What We Do Not Do | DragonTrail does not open a fortnight intake or compress a four-week course. |
Who This Route Fits
Two-Week Study Stays is for a reader with a two-week school holiday who needs to hear that the holiday length and the printed course length are not the same object. DragonTrail does not enroll this reader and does not set an age or a start date.
Read alongside that fit, Two-Week Study Stays still has to obey the office that printed the limit below. 北京语言大学’s short-term Chinese grid prints 4, 5, 6, and 8-week courses and a one-semester or 12-week course, at 20 class hours a week, with a class hour of 50 minutes. Credits on that page are 18 to 20 class hours each. The grid prints no month, no fee, and no age. A length is not a start date.
- Say 14 days and four weeks out loud. They are not the same.
- A holiday is not a printed course.
What the Printed Rules Say
The rule that actually constrains Two-Week Study Stays is narrower than a brochure. Article 38 allows a short-term group after an agreement. It does not list 14 days as a standard product. Article 9’s student categories are silent on fortnights. Eligibility is still the school’s, including any age line that school prints, which a two-week hope does not create. A line from a different office is not copied onto this reader.
Where Two-Week Study Stays cites a number, the number stops at the page it came from. Article 38 says that if a student is under 18 and the parents do not live in China, the parents must formally entrust a foreigner or a Chinese citizen who does live in China as guardian and must provide the proof. A short-term group needs an agreement with the foreign sending unit. For a primary or secondary school, that unit must finish the minor’s exit paperwork under its own law and must send a person who acts as guardian during the study. DragonTrail does not sign that agreement.
- Article 38 is an agreement, not a date.
- No age band is created by a fortnight.
Time and the Visa Split
The clock for Two-Week Study Stays is the stay length and the school’s own window, not a season label. Fourteen days counts toward the 180, it does not fill a four-week column, and it does not inherit Beijing’s passed August registration days. Those days were new-student registration for a term, as a municipal roundup, not a two-week course. A date that has already passed stays passed.
Timing on Two-Week Study Stays does not create an intake DragonTrail can open. Article 45 of 教育部、外交部、公安部令第42号 counts short study as no more than 180 days, including the 180th day, and long study as more than 180 days. The Sweden embassy note dated 2026/10/12 uses the same split for an X2 visa and an X1 visa. An X1 holder applies for a residence permit within 30 days of entry. The consular officer decides the category. A season name does not.
- Do not borrow passed registration days.
- Do not invent July.
Fees That Belong to a School
Money on Two-Week Study Stays is whatever the named school printed in RMB, if it printed anything. No fortnight fee was opened. A 12-week credit note, 1 credit equals 18 to 20 class hours, belongs to the non-degree language page and was not paired with a price. Do not infer a two-week credit or a two-week price from it. DragonTrail does not add a fee of its own.
Any yuan figure named for Two-Week Study Stays stays on the school’s list. Article 14 says a higher-education school publishes its fee items, standards, and refund rules, and prices them in RMB. Article 40 requires the insurance the state and the school demand. Someone who does not insure in time is not admitted. Someone already studying who does not insure is withdrawn or not registered. The order prints no premium. DragonTrail does not add a rate card.
- Do not price a credit that had no fee beside it.
- Degree tuition is not a holiday price.
Papers and Who Decides
Papers for Two-Week Study Stays come from the school and, if a visa is needed, from the consulate. Same split as other short stays: an admission notice if it is study at or under 180 days, or an F invitation if the embassy treats it as a study tour. A group adds the agreement and the traveling guardian. None of those come from DragonTrail. This site does not issue either document.
Documents discussed for Two-Week Study Stays are examples of what an office asked for, not a pack we issue. The Beijing municipal English page dated 24 August 2026 lists autumn registration days and says they are for reference only. It prints 清华大学 new undergraduates, including international students, as 19 August, 北京大学 new undergraduate international students as 30 August, and 北京师范大学, including international students, as 6 September. On 29 October 2026 those days had passed. The source line is China Education Network Television, not each university’s own notice.
- Choose study or study tour before you collect papers.
- A group of minors still needs a traveling guardian.
What to Do Next
The useful next step after Two-Week Study Stays is a question to the school, then a look at the neighboring routes. The grid begins at Three- to Four-Week Study Stays. One week shorter is One-Week Study Stays. Neither button on this page reserves a seat.
Before acting on Two-Week Study Stays, keep the following boundary in view. The Sweden embassy note dated 2026/10/12 describes an F visa for exchanges, visits, study tours, and other activities. The invitation should name the visitor, the purpose, the dates, the places, the relationship, the source of funds, and the inviter’s stamp and signature. F is not X1 or X2. The embassy decides. This page does not write the invitation.
- If four weeks is possible, use that page.
- This page does not book 14 days.

X2 is study for no more than 180 days and asks for an admission notice, plus form DQ if it applies. F is exchanges, visits, study tours, and other activities, and it needs an invitation with the visitor’s identity, dates, places, funds, and the inviter’s stamp and signature.
